a Onda do Portugues is a task-based course designed for young learners of Portuguese. It is a four level Portuguese course according to the Common European Framework of Reference, which starts from beginner level and is based on the principle of creating interest in young minds through motivating topics which bring Portuguese to life. Na Onda do Portugues develops the four key skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing. There is a variety of real life topics to stimulate the interest of the students. Clear learning goals and progress checks enable the students to set goals and achieve them. Simple presentation of grammar structures through functional examples and images. Activities, images and projects bring the language to real life, so that the students want to communicate in Portuguese. Each level of Na Onda do Portugues consists of a Student’s Book, Workbook, class CD and Teacher’s Book.
